Homoseksualitātes reprezentācija Latvijas interneta ziņu portālos DELFI un TVNET 2020. gadā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Homoseksualitātes reprezentācija Latvijas interneta ziņu portālos DELFI un TVNET 2020. gadā” mērķis ir noskaidrot to, kā Latvijas interneta ziņu portālos DELFI un TVNET tiek reprezentēta homoseksualitāte 2020. gadā pieejamajās ziņās. Darbā tika apskatīta teorētiskā literatūra par reprezentācijas teoriju, terminu mediatizācija, homoseksualitātes vēsturi, homoseksualitātes reprezentāciju pasaules medijos un homoseksualitāti Latvijā. Metodoloģiskajā daļa apskatīta kontentanalīze un anketēšanas metode. Darba empīriskajā daļā ar kontentanalīzes palīdzību tika izpētīti dažādi ziņu raksti gan no ziņu portāla DELFI, gan ziņu portāla TVNET, kā arī analizēti šo ziņu komentāri. Lai noskaidrotu ziņu portālu DELFI un TVNET auditorijas viedokli, tika izveidota anketa, kurā ar 15 jautājumu palīdzību tika noskaidrots respondentu viedoklis par ar homoseksualitāti saistītām un publicētām ziņām portālos DELFI un TVNET. Darbs ir strukturēts trīs daļās: teorētiskā, metodoloģiskā un empīriskā daļa.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis “Representation of Homosexuality in Latvian Internet News Portals DELFI and TVNET in 2020” is to find out how homosexuality is represented in Latvian Internet news portals DELFI and TVNET in the news available in 2020. The work reviewed the theoretical literature on the theory of representation, the term of mediatization, the history of homosexuality, the representation of homosexuality in the world media and homosexuality in Latvia. The methodological part deals with content analysis and questionnaire method. In the empirical part of the work, with the help of content analysis, various news articles from both the news portal DELFI and the news portal TVNET were researched, as well as the comments on these news were analyzed. In order to find out the opinion of the audience of the news portals DELFI and TVNET, a questionnaire was created, in which the opinion of the respondents about the news related to homosexuality and published on the news portals DELFI and TVNET was found out with the help of 15 questions. The work is structured in three parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical.
