dc.description.abstract | In recent years there has been a growing debate around the nature of digital markets and how competition law shall be applied in such markets; thus, the thesis aims to analyze the current problems the legislators are being faced with when deciding upon merger control in the digital era, specifically devoting analysis towards the killer acquisition issue in the digital markets. The thesis provides with analysis of different opinions from scholars and professionals practicing in the antitrust area, thus outlining the proposed issues in the regulation of digital markets as well as raises proposals upon what are the possible changes that should be implemented in order to regulate this new market phenomenon. | en_US |
