Sociālās trauksmes un alkohola lietošanas saistības sievietēm un vīriešiem

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot saistības starp sociālo trauksmi, alkohola lietošanu un alkohola lietošanu pirms sociālā notikuma sievietēm un vīriešiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 161 dalībnieks vecumā no 18 līdz 64 gadiem, sievietes 72%. Dalībnieki aizpildīja trīs aptaujas anketas – Sociālās trauksmes aptauju, Alkohola lietošanas traucējumu identifikācijas testu un aptauju par alkohola lietošanu pirms sociālā notikuma. Rezultāti parādīja, ka nepastāv dzimumatšķirības sociālās trauksmes rādītājos, ka pieaugot sociālai trauksmei nepalielinās alkohola lietošanas daudzumam sievietēm un vīriešiem un, ka nepastāv atšķirības alkohola lietošanas daudzumā pirms sociālā notikuma sievietēm un vīriešiem ar sociālo trauksmi.

The goal of this research was to determine the connection social anxiety, alcohol drinking and pre-event alcohol drinking between female and male. There were 161 participants in this study, aged 18 to 64 years, from which 72% was female. Participants completed three questionnaires – Social Interaction Anxiety Scale, Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test and Pre-Social Alcohol Survey. The results showed that there were no gender differences in the rates of social anxiety, that the increase in social anxiety does not increase the amount of alcohol used by female and male, and that there was no difference in the amount of alcohol use before social events between female and male with social anxiety.
