Film noir un neo noir komunicētā vēstījuma izmaiņas

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Film noir un neo noir komunicētā vēstījuma izmaiņas”. Pētījuma mērķis ir uzzināt, kādus vēstījumus nodeva film noir žanra filmas žanra „ziedu laikos” un kādus vēstījumus nodod jaunākas neo noir žanra filmas. Pētījuma teorētisko daļu veido apskats par kino valodu, tās nozīmi un ietekmi, kino valodas elementiem, kā arī film noir teorija, kurā apskatītas film noir iezīmes un stilistika, amerikāņu film noir un neo noir. Tāpat teorijā aprakstīta semiotika un naratīvs. Pētījums veikts, balstoties kvalitatīvās pētījuma metodēs - semiotiskajā analīzē (tiek apskatīti filmu vizuālie elementi) un naratīva analīzē (tiek apskatīta naratīva attīstība, tematika, centrālie notikumi). Pētījuma rezultāti pierāda, ka novērojamas atšķirības gan filmu vizuālajos elementos, gan naratīvā un līdz ar to – komunicētajos vēstījumos.

The theme of the Bachelor's thesis is "Changes in message communicated by film noir and neo noir". The aim of the study is to find out what messages were conveyed when film noir genre was at its heights and what messages were conveyed by newer neo noir films. The theoretical part of the research consists of an overview of the language of cinema, its meaning and influence, elements of cinema language, as well as the theory of film noir, which examines the features and stylistics of film noir, American film noir and neo noir. The theory also describes semiotics and narrative. The research is based on qualitative research methods - semiotic analysis (visual elements of films) and narrative analysis (narrative development, themes, central events). The results of the research prove that there are differences both in the visual elements of the films and in the narrative and, consequently, in the communicated messages.
