Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums “IKT nozares loma un attīstības iespējas Latvijas ekonomikā “. Darba autore: Ivonna Krūmiņa. Informācijas tehnoloģiju nozare mūsdienās ir piedzīvojusi strauju attīstības izaugsmi, ko pēdējo divu gadu laikā vēl vairāk pastiprinājusi Covid-19 pandēmija, kā rezultātā pieprasījums pēc IT pakalpojumiem nereti pat trīskāršojies. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir raksturot IKT nozares lomu Latvijas ekonomikā analizējot nozares attīstību pēdējo 10. gadu laikā, veicot nozares SVID analīzi un salīdzinot Latvijas konkurētspēju IKT nozares tirgū Eiropā. Pirmajā daļā tiek apskatīta teorētiskā informācija, kas raksturo IKT nozari un nozares analīzes teorija. Otrajā nodaļā darba autore analizē IKT nozares struktūru un attīstību Latvijā. Trešajā nodaļā darba autore sīkāk veic Latvijas IKT nozares uzņēmuma SIA “Atea Global Services “ uzņēmuma darbības analīzi. Bakalaura darba apjoms 60 lappuses. Darbā ievietoti 11 attēli, 12 tabulas, izteikti 10 secinājumi un 5 priekšlikumi, norādīti 47 izmantoās literatūras avoti. Subject of the bachelor's thesis "The role of the ICT sector and development opportunities in the Latvian economy". Author of the work: Ivonna Krūmiņa. The information technology industry today has seen a rapid growth, exacerbated over the last two years by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has often tripled the demand for the IT services. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to describe the role of the ICT sector in the Latvian economy by analyzing the development of the sector during the last 10 years, performing SWOT analysis of the sector, and comparing Latvia's competitiveness in the ICT sector market in Europe. In the first chapter the theoretical information that characterizes the ICT industry and the theory of industry is described. In the second chapter, the author analyzes the structure and development of the ICT industry in Latvia. In the third chapter, the author performs a detailed analysis of the operations of the Latvian ICT company SIA Atea Global Services. The volume of the bachelor's thesis is 60 pages. The paper contains 11 figures, 12 tables, 10 conclusions and 5 proposals, 47 used literature sources. Keywords: information technology, technology industry, ICT industry growth.
