The purpose of this paper is a project: the establishment of a new textile manufacturing limited liability company and the development and analysis of its operational and financial plan for the next three and a half years. Clothing and textiles account for a large share of global waste. It is driven by both consumer demand for new products and the complex recycling of textiles. Only a very small proportion of textile waste is recycled into completely new clothing. To reduce the negative impact on the environment, the alternative is to use natural materials such as linen. Linen fabric is natural and it does not leave waste due to its decomposition capabilities over time. Linen material has many positive properties for health, for instance, it does not cause allergies, is breathable, and is also very suitable for young children and people with sensitive skin. Linen is two times more sustainable than cotton. Consumers in developed countries are increasingly thinking about how to improve their environment as well as their health. As a result of green thinking, the sustainability of everyday products, the natural origin of their raw materials and the beneficial effects on human health have become very important. By developing products from linen with an attractive design, it is possible to reduce the negative environmental impact of the textile industry and to provide consumers with attractive products that meet their expectations. The idea of the project is to establish the company SIA “Manilini”, which will produce home textiles and clothing from linen fabric, embroidered with silk threads. The products will be made of certified and natural fabrics, which will prove their safety. The products will be of high quality, made in Latvia, as well as they will expand the range of clothing and textile design in the market.
