Latvijas senioru līdzdalība darba tirgū un tās sociāli-ekonomiskie determinanti

Iedzīvotāju straujās novecošanās kontekstā senioru līdzdalība darba tirgū kļūst aizvien nozīmīgākā, jo vecākā paaudze ir stratēģisks darbaspēka resurss un tās izvēle izstaties no darba tirgus negatīvi ietekmē situāciju ekonomikā. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas senioru situāciju darba tirgū un novērtēt daudzveidīgo sociāli-ekonomisko faktoru ietekmi uz viņu līdzdalību darba tirgū un nodarbinātību, un balstoties uz iegūtajiem rezultātiem izstrādāt priekšlikumus senioru ekonomiskas aktivitātes veicināšanai. Darba empīriskajā daļā veikta sociāli-ekonomisko determinantu ekonometriskā analīze. Pētījuma procesā secināts, ka senioru līdzdalību darba tirgū un nodarbinātību ietekmē vairāki indivīdu un mājsaimniecību raksturojošie rādītāji, kuri atšķiras pēc ietekmes pakāpes. In the context of rapid population ageing the participation of seniors in the labor market is becoming increasingly important, as the older generation is a potentially active part of the country's population and their choice to leave the labor market is having a negative impact on the economic situation. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to study the situation of Latvian seniors in the labor market and to assess the impact of various socio-economic factors on their participation in the labor market and employment, and to develop proposals for the promotion of senior economic activity based on the results obtained. In the empirical part of the work, an econometric analysis of socio-economic determinants is performed. The study concludes that the participation of seniors in the labor market and employment is influenced by several indicators characterizing individuals and households, which differ in the degree of impact.
