The topic of the bachelor's thesis: an analysis of major anemophilous plant pollen exine and concentration in Latvia. The paper describes the changes in birch, grass and pine pollen concentration over 10 years, microscopic analyses of pollen were performed and chemical elements on the surface of pollen were determined. The theoretical part describes the morphological properties of pollen, the pollen transport in air flows; it described the distribution of birch, pine and grass pollen. The paper describes the used pollen collection methods, used devices. Over ten years, the concentration of birch, pine and grainy pollen has increased. The increase in concentrations depends on meteorological conditions: air temperature, precipitation, relative humidity of the air. An analysis of the scanning electron microscope identified 12 chemical elements, three of which are composed of the outer wall of pollen (oxygen, carbon, nitrogen and sodium). The other elements - indy, silicon, chlorine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, sulphur and potassium - are considered to be polluting.
