Ģeogrāfisko informācijas sistēmu apguve pamatskolā: Arcgis online praktiskie uzdevumi ģeogrāfijā 7.-9. klasēs

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Ģeogrāfisko informācijas sistēmu apguve pamatskolā: ArcGIS Online praktiskie uzdevumi ģeogrāfijā 7.-9.klasēs”. Ģeogrāfiskā izglītība visā pasaulē mainās, pēdējā laikā skolās aktīvāk sāka pielietot ģeogrāfiskās informācijas sistēmas (ĢIS) ģeogrāfijas stundās. Arī Latvijā kopš kompetenču pieejas ieviešanu visos mācību priekšmetos, par ģeogrāfijas mācību satura neatņemamo daļu kļuva tiešsaistes ĢIS vide ArcGIS Online, kas ļauj skolēniem izmantot interaktīvās kartes. Ņemot vērā to, ka darbs ar interaktīvām kartēm ir jaunums Latvijas skolās un materiālu daudzums nav pietiekams, bakalaura darba ietvaros tika izvirzīts mērķis - izstrādāt praktiskos uzdevumus ArcGIS Online vidē, kas būs piemēroti izmantošanai ģeogrāfijas stundās pamatskolas posmā. Darba izstrādes procesā tika apkopota informācija par ĢIS izmantošanu skolās Latvijā un pasaulē. Kā arī tika izstrādāti trīs uzdevumu komplekti 7., 8. un 9. klasēm, kas atbilst skolā apgūstāmām tēmām un ļauj skolēniem apgūt tās iedziļinoties un darbojoties praktiski. Arī tika noskaidrots ģeogrāfijas skolotāju viedoklis par ĢIS izmantošanu stundās.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is " Acquisition of geographical information systems in primary school: ArcGIS Online practical tasks in geography 7.-9. Classes". Geographic education in the world is changing with the recent use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in geography lessons in schools. Also, in Latvia, since introduction of the competency approach in all subjects, the online GIS environment ArcGIS Online, which allows students to use interactive maps, has become an integral part of the geography curriculum. Accounting the fact that work with interactive maps is new in Latvian schools and the amount of materials is insufficient, the aim of the bachelor's thesis was to develop practical tasks in ArcGIS Online, which will be suitable for use in geography lessons in primary school. During the development of the work, we collected information about GIS usage in schools in Latvia and in the world. Also, three sets of tasks were developed - for grades 7, 8 and 9, which correspond to the topics to be learned at school and allow students to learn this topics working on tasks in-depth and practical. Additionally, we discovered Geography teachers' views on the GIS use in lessons.
