Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt un analizēt nenoteiksmes un divdabju lietojumu Sony preses relīzēs. Pētījuma teorētiskā daļa ir balstīta uz dažādu angļu valodas gramatikas zinātnieku darbiem. Empīriskajai daļai izvēlētās metodes ir biežuma analīze un diskursa analīze. Rezultāti parādīja, ka mērķa apstāklis ir visbiežāk lietotā nenoteiksmes sintaktiskā funkcija, kas tiek izmantota, lai izskaidrotu uzņēmuma darbības un darījumus. Divdabim visbiežākā funkcija ir apzīmētājs, ko izmanto lietvārdu aprakstīšanai un modificēšanai, kas apzīmē uzņēmuma tehnoloģijas, sīkrīkus un notikumus. The non-finite forms of the verb are an integral part of the English grammar and are constantly used in both written and spoken discourse. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyze the use of the infinitive and participle in the press releases of Sony. The theoretical part of the research is based on the works of various scholars of the English grammar. The methods selected for the empirical part are frequency analysis and discourse analysis. The results have shown that the adverbial modifier of purpose is the most frequently used infinitive syntactic function which is used for explaning actions and deals made by the company. For the participle the most frequent function is attribute used for describing and modifying nouns denoting technologies, gadgets and events of the company.
