Lomu spēles angļu juridiskās valodas apguvē augstskolas līmenī

Maģistra darbā pētīts lomu spēļu pielietojums angļu juridiskās valodas nodarbībās, kuru mērķis ir attīstīt studentu komunikatīvo kompetenci augstskolas līmenī. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek iztirzāts komunikatīvās kompetences jēdziens, saziņas īpatnības juridiskajā vidē, komunikatīvā kompetence valodas apguvē, kas ietver angļu valodu specifiskiem mērķiem un angļu juridisko valodu, un simulāciju un lomu spēļu pieeju komunikatīvo prasmju attīstībai valodas apguvējiem. Empīriskā daļa ietver visaptverošu diskusiju un analīzi par gadījuma izpēti: mērķa populācija, aptaujas, un lomu spēļu īstenošana angļu juridiskās valodas nodarbībās. Rezultāti atklāj, ka lomu spēles ietver efektīvu, izbaudāmu un uz studentiem vērstu pieeju angļu juridiskās komunikācijas prasmju uzlabošanā. The Master thesis studies the application of role plays in Legal English classes aimed at developing students’ communicative competence at the tertiary level. The theoretical part discusses the notion of communicative competence, peculiarities of communication in a legal environment, communicative competence in legal language studies, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Legal English (LE), and the simulation and role play approach in developing communicative competence in language learners. The empirical part involves a comprehensive discussion and analysis of a case study: the target population, surveys, and role play implementation into practice in Legal English studies. The findings reveal that role plays are a student-centred, effective, and enjoyable approach in enhancing the students’ legal communication skills.
