Valodas kodu maiņa J. Joņeva romānā "Jelgava 94" un tā tulkojumā franču valodā "Metal" (N. Ozano)
Zusammenfassung
Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izprast un salīdzināt, kādus kodu pārslēgšanas un sajaukšanas pārraides procesus ir izmantojis Nikolā Ozano tulkojot Jāņa Joņeva romānu “Jelgava 94”. Darbā ir divas daļas: teorētiskā daļa ir veltīta valodas kontakta definīcijai, divvalodības jeb bilingvālisma definīcijai un tās vietai Latvijā, kodu maiņai un sajaukšanai, kā arī tulkošanas stratēģijām, kas tiek izmantotas kodu maiņas un sajaukšanas gadījumu tulkošanai N.Ozano tulkojumā “Metal”. Praktiskā daļa sastāv no korpusa un metodoloģijas apraksta, tulkotāja izmantoto tulkošanas stratēģiju analīzes, kurus izmantojis, lai tulkotu dažāda veida kodu maiņu un sajaukšanu, kā arī divu interviju analīze: viena ar romāna autor, otra ar tulku. Darba rezultāti atklāj, kāda veida tulkošanas stratēģijas tika izmantotas koda maiņas un sajaukšanas gadījumu tulkošanai. Kā arī, rezultāti norāda, kuri no tiem visbiežāk tiek lietoti – mērķa teksta pārveidošana vienā valodā, pārnesumu saglabāšana oriģinālajā avota valodā un aprakstošā stratēģija. The objective of this study is to understand and compare the processes of transmission of code-switching and mixing used in the translation of the novel Jelgava 94 translated by N. Auzanneau. The research has two parts: the theoretical part is devoted to the definition of language contact, bilingualism, and its place in Latvia, code-switching and mixing and translation strategies that are used to translate cases of code-switching and mixing. The practical part consists of a description of the corpus and the methodology, an analysis of the translation strategies used by the translator to translate different types of code-switching and mixing as well as an analysis of two interviews: one with the author of the novel and the other with the translator. The results of the work reveal what kinds of translation strategies were used to translate code-switching and mixing occurrences. Thus, the results indicate which of them are most commonly used which are– making the target text monolingual, the transfer retention in the original source language and the descriptive strategy.
