Sieviešu tēlu sistēma antīkajā romānā

Abstract

Pētījumā tiek analizēta sieviešu tēlu sistēma trijos antīkajos romānos: Haritona romānā Kalliroja, Longa romānā Dafnids un Hloja un Āpulēja romānā Zelta ēzelis. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt sieviešu tēlu sistēmas iezīmes antīkajā romānā un noteikt tēlu daudzveidību sistēmas ietvaros, identificējot un klasificējot darbos sastopamos sieviešu tēlus un izpētot to mijiedarbību ar vīriešu tēlu sistēmu. Darba gaitā sieviešu tēli tiek iedalīti četrās grupās, balstoties uz viņu stāvokli sabiedrībā un mijiedarbi ar citiem tēliem: jaunās sievietes, sievietes laulībā, sievietes ārpus laulības, dievietes. Pētījums parāda, ka, lai gan antīkajos romānos centrālā loma ir jauno sieviešu tēliem, sižeta pilnībai nozīmīgi ir arī pārējie sieviešu tēli.

The study analyses the system of female characters in three ancient novels: Chariton’s Callirhoe, Longus’ Daphnis and Chloe and Apuleius’ The Golden Ass. The aim of the research is to study the features of the system of female characters in the ancient novel and to determine the diversity of characters within the system, identifying and classifying the female characters in the novels and studying their relationship with the system of male characters. In the course of the study, the female characters are divided into four groups based on their status in society and interactions with other characters: young women, women in marriage, women outside marriage, goddesses. The study shows that although the young female characters play a central role in ancient novels, the other characters in the story are also important for the completeness of the story.
