Fetišu terminoloģijas atveide latviešu valodā

Abstract

Fetiši ir kļuvuši par teju normālu sabiedrības tematiku, kas ir apspriežama, bet terminoloģija šajā jomā tiek pieminēta maz. Maģistra darba “Fetišu terminoloģijas atveide latviešu valodā” mērķis ir saprast, cik attīstīta ir fetišu terminoloģija latviešu valodā un kādos avotos to meklēt. Pētījuma uzdevums ir salīdzināt jau esošu glosāriju, kuru sastādījis profesors Anils Agravals ar interneta resursiem un vārdnīcām, lai saprastu, cik attīstīta šī terminoloģijas joma ir, gan angļu valodā, gan latviešu, tāpat arī pārbaudīt, cik uzticami ir avoti, kuros ir atrodama informācija par šo terminoloģiju, un vai nav radušās kādas terminoloģijas problēmas un termini nedublējas ar citām nozarēm. Pētījuma rezultāti apliecina nepieciešamību izstrādāt terminoloģijas risinājumus fetišu terminoloģijas jomā, kā arī papildināt vai izlabot jau esošos terminus un tiešsaistes vārdnīcas. Terminu šobrīd ir pietiekoši daudz un līdz ar paredzamu psiholoģijas attīstību, būtu nepieciešams pievērst arī uzmanību šādas terminoloģijas izveidošanai. Fetishes have become a topic that can be discussed daily, but terminology in this sphere is not mentioned at all or rarely is. In the master’s thesis “Rendering of Fetish Terminology in Latvian” the main goal was to understand how developed fetish terminology is in Latvian and in what sources it can be searched for. The task of this research is to compare the already existing glossary by Professor Anil Aggrawal to internet resources and online dictionaries. To understand how developed this sphere of terminology is both in English and Latvian and to discover how trustworthy the sources where this information about such terminology is found and whether there are any terminology problems and terms are not duplicated in other spheres. The results of the research confirm the necessity for terminological solutions in the fetish terminology sphere as well as adding new terms and fixing the errors and imperfections of already existing terms found in online dictionaries. There are a fair number of terms and with possible further development of psychology, it would be necessary to work on terminology in this sphere.
