Ambulatorās veselības aprūpes pakalpojumu pieejamība nedzirdīgiem pacientiem

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma: Ambulatorās veselības aprūpes pakalpojumu pieejamība nedzirdīgiem pacientiem. Eiropā veiktie pētījumi liecina, ka nedzirdīgo iedzīvotāju veselības vajadzības visā pasaulē joprojām nav apmierinātas. Prioritātes joprojām ir pasākumi, lai samazinātu nevienlīdzību un nodrošinātu nedzirdīgo personu piekļuvi profesionāliem veselības pakalpojumiem un ārstēšanai. Latvijā šādi pētījumi nav veikti, kas ļautu atklāt Latvijā dzīvojošo nedzirdīgo specifiskās vajadzības. Pētījuma mērķis: pētīt ambulatoru veselības aprūpes pakalpojumu pieejamību nedzirdīgiem pacientiem. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1.Analizēt Ernestīnes Vīdenbahas māszinību teorijas pielietojumu nedzirdīgu pacientu vajadzību izzināšanā; 2.Analizēt agrākos pētījumus par veselības aprūpes pakalpojumu un vides pieejamību kopumā nedzirdīgiem pacientiem; 3.Izstrādāt pētījuma metodoloģiju un veikt naratīvu pētījumu. 4.Apkopot pētījuma rezultātus un formulēt secinājumus un priekšlikumus. Pētījuma jautājums: kādi galvenie faktori ietekmē ambulatoru veselības aprūpes pakalpojumu nepieejamību nedzirdīgiem pacientiem? Pētniecības metode: kvalitatīvs pētījums, pētniecības instruments – intervija. Pētījuma rezultāti: Nedzirdīgi pacienti, saņemot veselības aprūpes pakalpojumus, saskaras ar neatbilstošu attieksmi no veselības aprūpes speciālistu puses, neizpratni, nevēlēšanos komunicēt rakstiski. Ne vienmēr ir pieejami surdotulka pakalpojumi, vecākiem pacientiem pietrūkst zināšanu un prasmju par tehnisko komunikācijas līdzekļu lietojumu. Darba noslēgumā izstrādāti ieteikumi, kuru realizācija ļautu uzlabot veselības aprūpes pakalpojumu pieejamību nedzirdīgām personām. Topic of the Bachelor’s Thesis: Accessibility to Outpatient Care Services to Deaf Patients. The studies conducted in Europe show that the health needs of deaf people around the world are still unmet. Measures to reduce inequalities and ensure access to professional health care and treatment for the deaf remain priorities. No such studies have been conducted in Latvia, which would allow revealing the specific needs of deaf people living in Latvia. Objective of the study: to study the accessibility of outpatient health care services to deaf patients. Study tasks: 1.To analyze the application of Ernestine Wiedenbach’s theory of nursing in the study of the needs of deaf patients; 2.To analyze previous research on the accessibility of health care services and the environment to deaf patients in general; 3.To develop research methodology and conduct narrative research. 4.To summarize the results of the study and formulate conclusions and proposals. Study question: what are the main factors influencing the inaccessibility of outpatient health care services to deaf patients? Study method: qualitative research, research tool - interview. Study results: Deaf patients, when receiving health care services, encounter inappropriate treatment by doctors, misunderstanding, and unwillingness to communicate in writing. Sign language interpreter services are not always available, elderly patients lack knowledge and skills in the use of technical means of communication. At the end of the recommendations have been developed, the implementation of which would improve the accessibility of health care services.
