Likteņa tēma Homēra sabiedrības vērtību sistēmā

Abstract

Pētījums veltīts līdz šim Latvijas historiogrāfijā maz pētītam tematam – Homēra sabiedrībai, likteņa tēmai Homēra poēmās, sabiedrības un likteņa attiecībām. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izzināt, vai Homēra poēmās aprakstītais liktenis ietekmēja Homēra sabiedrību. Darbs fokusējas uz sabiedrības un likteņa izpēti Homēra poēmās “Iliāda” un “Odiseja” aprakstītajā laika periodā (12.-8.gs.p.m.ē.). Darbā tiek raksturota tā laika sabiedrība un dzejnieka uzskati par pasauli un likteni. Homēra sabiedrība mijiedarbojas ar vairākām likteņa formām un dievišķo gribu. Darba galvenais rezultāts ir attiecību raksturojums starp Homēra poēmās attēloto sabiedrību un likteņa dažādajām formām.

Study is devoted to a topic that has been little studied in latvian historiography – Homer’s society, the theme of fate in Homer’ poems, the relationships between society and fate. The aim of this thesis is to investigate wether the fate described in Homer’s poems influenced Homeric society. The thesis focuses on the study of society and fate in th period described in Homer’s poems “Iliad” and “Odyssey” (12th – 8th century BC). The work describes the society of the time and the poet’s views of the world and fate. Homer’s society interacts with several forms of fate and divine will. The main result of the thesis is a description of the relationship between the society depicted by Homer’s poems and the different forms of fate.
