There are a lot of information centers that we, as consumers, do not think about. Information centers can be different: tourism information center, documentation center, data center, information analysis center, etc. However, the main aim of this bachelor is analyzed directly by information centers, which are located in Riga's largest shopping centers. The information centers studied and viewed are: TC “RĪGA PLAZA”, TC “DOMINA SHOPPING” and TC “SPICE”. The theoretical part is based on the ELIS (Everyday life information seeking) model. Bachelor work uses different methods: both quality interviews, such as interviews with information centers for employees, quantitative research methods, such as questionnaires, and content analysis. The main goal of the bachelor work is to find out how different information centers differ when work in different shopping centers. For example, compare the services offered in information centers, which are the day-to-day tasks of employees. So, “see” the main differences between the information centers which are included in the study. The empirical base of the research will be the results of questionnaire and interview. According to the obtained results, it will possible to answer the main question of the research: how the information centers included in the research differ.
