Bibliotekāra personības ietekme uz daudzveidīga krājuma attīstību viena darbinieka bibliotēkās

Abstract

Maģistra darba "Bibliotekāra personības ietekme uz daudzveidīga krājuma attīstību viena darbinieka bibliotēkās" mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādas ir likumsakarības starp solo bibliotekāru personības iezīmēm un viņu uzskatiem daudzveidīga bibliotēkas krājuma attīstībā. Jaukta tipa pētījums tika veikts pozitīvisma pieejā, izmantojot anketēšanas un intervēšanas metodes, rezultātus analizējot ar matemātiskās statistikas metodēm SPSS programmā. Anketēšanā piedalījās 86 respondenti, intervēšanā – četri. Pētījuma dalībnieki ir pārsvarā uzticīgi, apzinīgi, neatlaidīgi, apdomīgi, vienlīdz introverti un ekstraverti, ar augstu pašvērtējumu un pacilātu garastāvokli. Vislielākā respondentu personības ietekme ir uz spēļu, seriālizdevumu, novadpētniecības materiālu, nozaru literatūras, bērnu literatūras, drukāto grāmatu un daiļliteratūras komplektēšanu viņu bibliotēkās. Personības iezīmes, kuras visvairāk ietekmē krājuma attīstību, ir apdomīgums/pārdrošība, introverts/ekstraverts un zems/augsts pašvērtējums. Faktori, kuri pēc respondentu domām krājuma attīstību viņu bibliotēkās ietekmē vairāk, nekā bibliotekāra personība, ir bibliotēkas finansējums, lietotāju viedoklis un krājuma attīstību reglamentējošie dokumenti.

Aim of the master thesis "Influence of the librarian's personality on the diverse collection development in one-person libraries" is to find out the patterns between the personality traits of solo librarians and their views on the development of a diverse library collection. A mixed methods research was conducted in a positivist approach, using questionnaire and interview methods, and the results were analyzed using mathematical statistics methods in the SPSS program. 86 respondents took part in the survey, four in the interview. Based on the Personality Audit model used in the study, the participants are predominantly trustful, conscientious, assertive, prudent, equally introverted and extroverted, with a positive self-esteem and high-spirited. The biggest influence of the respondents' personalities on collection development in their libraries is on games, periodicals, local history materials, subject literature, children's literature, printed books and fiction literature. Personality traits, that influence the development of the collection the most, are prudent/adventurous, introverted/extroverted and negative/positive self-esteem. Factors, that influence the development of the collection in their libraries more than the personality of the librarian, are funding, opinion of the users and collection development policy.
