Latvijas iedzīvotāju attieksme pret depozīta sistēmu valstī

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Latvijas iedzīvotāju attieksme pret depozīta sistēmu valstī”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot Latvijas iedzīvotāju attieksmi pret depozīta sistēmu valstī un tās darbības pozitīvos un negatīvos aspektus. Darbs sastāv no četrām teorētiskajām, pētījuma metodoloģijas, pētījuma empīriskās analīzes nodaļas, diskusijas, secinājumiem un desmit pielikumiem. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika skaidroti depozīta sistēmas darbības principi, aprakstīti tās ieviešanas mēģinājumi Latvijā, kā arī sniegts ieskats Latvijas iedzīvotāju atkritumu šķirošanas paradumos laika posmā 2002. – 2020. gadam un aprakstīts teorētiskais ietvars – racionālās izvēles teorija. Darba metodoloģijas daļā tika aprakstītas darbā izmantotās pētnieciskās metodes, veiktais lauka darba, pētnieciskās ētikas principu ievērošana, kā arī instrumentārija un daļēji strukturēto interviju vadlīniju veidošana. Pētnieciskā darba empīrisko datu iegūšana ir balstīta kvantitatīvajās metodēs (aptaujas anketa) un papildināta ar kvalitatīvajām (daļēji strukturētās intervijas) metodēm. Empīriskā materiāla analīzes daļā tika secināts, ka lielākā daļa respondentu pilnībā atbalsta (51,3 %) vai drīzāk atbalsta (35,1 %) DS ieviešanu Latvijā (sk. 6.8. tab.). Pēc respondentu/ informantu domām, lielākie DS darbības Latvijā pozitīvie aspekti ir tīrāka un sakoptāka vide, būs mazāk izmētātu atkritumu un mazāk piesārņots, mazāk beigtu dzīvnieku, uzlabosies ekonomiskā situācija bezpajumtniekiem, viņi mazāk prasīs finansiālu atbalstu no apkārtējiem sabiedrības locekļiem un cilvēkiem ietaupīsies nauda par sadzīves atkritumu izvešanu, bet negatīvie aspekti ir apgrūtinājums/ pienākums lietotājiem un valsts ieguldītie līdzekļi. Darbā izvirzītais mērķis – noskaidrot Latvijas iedzīvotāju attieksmi pret DS valstī un tās darbības pozitīvos un negatīvos aspektus tika sasniegts.

The topic of the master’s thesis is “The attitude of Latvian residents towards the deposit system in the country”. The aim of the work is to find out the attitude of the Latvian residents towards the deposit system in the country and the positive and negative aspects of its operation. The work consists of four theoretical, research methodology, empirical analysis, discussions, conclusions and ten appendices. The theoretical part of the work explains the principles of operation of the deposit system, describes the attempts to implement it in Latvia, as well as provides an insight into the waste sorting habits of the Latvian population in the period 2002. – 2020. and describes the theoretical framework - the theory of rational choice. In the part of the methodology was described the research methods used in the work, the observance of the principles of field work and research ethics, as well as the development of guidelines for semi-structured interviews. Acquisition of empirical data of the research work is based on quantitative methods (questionnaire) and supplemented with qualitative (semi-structured interview) methods. In the analysis of empirical material, it was concluded that the majority of respondents fully support (51.3%) or rather support (35.1%) the implementation of DS in Latvia (see table 6.8). According to the respondents / informants, the biggest positive aspects of DS's activities in Latvia are a cleaner and tidier environment, less waste and less pollution, fewer dead animals, the economic situation of the homeless will improve, they will demand less financial support from the surrounding members and people will save money on their homes. waste disposal, but the negative aspects are the burden / obligation on users and the public investment. The aim of the work - to find out the attitude of the Latvian population towards the DS in the country and the positive and negative aspects of its activities was achieved.
