Spēļošanas elementi angļu valodas stundās vārdu krājuma attīstībai pirmajā klasē

Abstract

Noslēguma darba Spēļošanas elementi angļu valodas stundās vārdu krājuma attīstībai 1. klasē mērķis ir izpētīt spēļošanas elementu izmantošanu vārdu krājuma attīstībai angļu valodas stundās pirmajā klasē. Darbā ir noskaidrotas vārdu krājuma attīstības īpatnības pirmajā klasē, apgūstot svešvalodu, vārdu krājuma attīstības metodes un paņēmieni. Autore aplūko spēļošanas tehnoloģijas izmantošanu, noskaidrojot tās priekšrocības un trūkumus, galvenos elementus un to izmantošanu vārdu krājuma attīstīšanai pirmajā klasē. Praktiskā daļa ir atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums. Tika izmantota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode – individuālās strukturētas intervijas ar trim skolotājiem, skolēnu darbu (testu) analīze pētījuma sākumā un beigās, kā arī pedagoģiskā novērošana pēc kritērijiem (trīs pirmās klasēs, kopā 67 skolēni). Tika izmantota arī kvantitatīvā pētījuma metode – pirmklasnieku vecāku aptauja ar tiešsaistes anketēšanu (kopā 32 respondenti). Vecāku un skolotāju attieksme un viedoklis par spēļošanas izmantošanu angļu valodas stundās pirmajā klasē bija pozitīva, kā arī pēc skolēnu darbu analīzes un novērojuma secināts, ka spēļošana labvēlīgi ietekmēja vārdu krājuma veidošanu. Izmantotās avotu un literatūras sarakstā ir 64 avoti un 8 pielikumi.

The aim of the final work Gamification Elements in English Lessons to Develop Vocabulary in Grade 1 is to explore gamification element usage to develop vocabulary in English lessons in Grade 1. The paper clarifies the peculiarities of vocabulary development in the first grade when studying a foreign language, and also methods and techniques for developing vocabulary. The author also considered the gamification technology - its advantages and disadvantages, main elements and their use to develop vocabulary in the first grade. The practical part is a case study. The qualitative research method was applied – individual structured interviews with three primary school teachers, analysis of students' tests at the beginning and at the end of the research, and pedagogical observation according to criteria (three 1st Grades, 67 pupils). The quantitative research method was also applied – pupils' parents survey with an online questionnaire (32 respondents). A positive attitude of parents and teachers to the use of the gamification elements in English lessons in the first grade was revealed. After analyzing and observing students' work (tests), it was concluded that gamification positively affected the development of vocabulary. The list of sources and literature used includes 64 sources and 8 appendices.
