Abstract
Ņemot vērā to, ka šobrīd pasaulē plosās COVID-19 infekcija, viens no elementiem, kas tiek skarts infecijas ietekmē ir tieslietu nozare, tostarp tiesu darbība un procesuālo normu piemērošana. Maģistra darba mērķis ir konstatēt COVID-19 sekas Civilprocesa likuma piemērošanā un tiesu sistēmas organizācijā, vienlaikus apskatot pagaidu regulējuma attīstību un problēmjautājumus civilprocesā, kas radušies COVID-19 vīrusa infekcijas ietekmē, tostarp pierādot, ka COVID-19 infekcija veicina procesuālo ekonomiju tiesvedībā, vienlaikus ievērojot tiesības uz taisnīgu tiesu. Maģistra darba galvenais uzdevums ir analizēt pušu civilprocesuālo tiesību ievērošanu pandēmijas apstākļos.
 
One of the elements that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is currently spreading through out the world, is the justice system, including court work and the application of procedural rules. The objective of this master’s thesis is to establish the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on the organization of the judicial system, application of Civil procedure law, doing research on the regulatory developments at the same time. One of the things that the author wants to make sure of is that the COVID-19 pandemic and the laws that have been made in it’s affect is encouraging the procedural economy in civil proceedings considering the right to a fair trial. The main task of this master’s thesis is to analyze rights of the parties in civil proceedings by the course of pandemic.
