Money laundering is a global problem that is constantly evolving as criminals find new more complex and creative ways to launder money. Recent year amendments to laws that regulate money laundering also does not make the situation any easier and "open the door" to new problems, such as violations of the presumption of innocence. Adding to that is the impact of the new technology in the ways how criminal’s lauder money and the challenges associated with that. This bachelor's thesis deals with the most current problems of proving money laundering, that is, the burden of proof, the standard of proof and the types of evidence, also addressed are less common forms of money laundering and the challenges that comes with them.
