Maģistra darba tēma ir “Tiesiskie aspekti rīcībai ar privātpersonas tiešsaistes digitālajiem datiem tā nāves gadījumā.” Maģistra darbā analizēti privātpersonas tiešsaistes digitālie dati kā iespējamais mantojums, to vērtība un atzīšana no tiesību zinātnes skata punkta. Šāda darba tēma izvēlēta, jo informācijas laikmeta attīstība ir nekontrolējami strauja, digitālajai videi tiek pakļauta lielākā daļa iedzīvotāju, taču nav skaidra tiesību regulējuma, kāda ir rīcība ar tiešsaistes digitālajiem datiem pēc privātpersonas nāves. Sasniedzot maģistra darba izvirzīto mērķi, autore ir nonākusi pie secinājuma, ka tiešsaistes digitālie dati ir sui generis īpašums un Civillikumā ir nepieciešams papildu tiesību regulējums, lai būtu iespējama šo digitālo datu pāreja mantiniekiem. The topic of the master's thesis is "Legal aspects of dealing with an individual's online digital data in the event of his or her death." The master's thesis analyzes an individual's online digital data as heritage, their value and recognition from the point of view of law. The topic of this work has been chosen because the development of the information age is uncontrollably fast, the majority of the population is exposed to the digital environment, but there is no clear legal framework for the treatment of online digital data after the death of an individual. Achieving the goal of the master's thesis, the author has come to the conclusion that online digital data is a sui generis property and additional legal regulation is needed in the Civil Law to allow the transfer of this digital data to heirs.
