Title of bachelor's thesis: The development of critical thinking and problem solving of a preschool child in the process of forming mathematical concepts in a preschool institution Objective of the research: Possibilities of development of critical thinking and problem solving of 5-6-year-old children in mathematics lessons in the preschool pedagogical process. It is discussed in the theoretical part: •The nature of critical thinking and problem solving. As this transversal skill develops, the child's personality develops. •Development of critical thinking and problem solving of preschool children in the context of mathematics education. How to promote children's critical thinking and problem solving in the field of mathematics education. In the practical part: Preschool children of middle age were studied. What is the child's learning level and whether they have successfully mastered the set achievable results in the field of mathematics: grouping of objects, relationships between sizes, studying the properties of figures, their position and characteristic sizes. By setting criteria for each of these achievable outcomes, children's achievement before and after the study was examined. Tabular charts were created showing children's development. Work volume: 47 pages, 8 tables, 32 images, 26 sources.
