DIFERENCIĀCIJA 8. KLASES SKOLĒNU MOTIVĀCIJAS UZLABOŠANAI ANGĻU VALODAS STUNDĀS

Abstract

Diplomdarbs "Diferenciācija 8. klases skolēnu motivācijas sekmēšanai angļu valodas stundās" tika uzrakstīts ar mērķi izpētīt, kā diferenciācija var veicināt 8. klases skolēnu motivāciju angļu valodas stundās. Darbā uzsvērta diferenciācijas nozīme mācību procesā. Tika pētīti dažādi avoti par diferenciācijas teoriju un veikta gadījuma izpēte, lai atklātu skolēnu motivācijas iemeslus 8. klases angļu valodas stundās. Gadījuma izpēte tika veikta 3 nedēļas vienā no Latvijas vidusskolām. Pētījuma izlase bija 31 8. klases skolēns. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka skolēni kopumā ir motivēti mācīties angļu valodu un viņu motivāciju angļu valodas stundās var ietekmēt patika, mācību vide, problēmas personīgajā dzīvē un panākumi. The Paper “Differentiation to Promote Students’ Motivation in Year 8 English Classes” was written with the aim to explore how differentiated English lessons can promote Year 8 students’ motivation. The Paper emphasises the importance of differentiation in the learning process. Various sources on the theory of differentiation have been studied, and a case study was conducted in order to discover reasons behind students’ motivation in Year 8 English classes. The case study was carried out during 3 weeks in one secondary school in Latvia. The research sample was 31 students from Year 8 English classes. The results of the research show that students are generally motivated to study English and their classroom motivation can be influenced by enjoyment, learning environment, personal issues and success.
