Vērtspapīru tirgus attīstība Latvijā

Abstract

Pamatojoties uz literatūras un statistikas datiem, analizēta Baltijas valstu vērtspapīru– akciju un obligāciju– tirgus darbība laika posmā no 2017. gada līdz 2022. gadam, veicot “Nasdaq Riga”, “Nasdaq Vilnius” un “Nasdaq Tallinn” statistikas salīdzināšanu. Darba empīriskajā daļā autore, balstoties uz ekspertu intervijām ar uzņēmuma, kas veikuši akciju vai obligāciju kotāciju biržā, pārstāvjiem, kā arī “Nasdaq Riga” un citu ekspertu viedokļiem pētījusi, kādi ir galvenie šķēršļi un izaicinājumi Latvijas mazajiem un vidējiem uzņēmumiem izvēlēties veikt kapitāla piesaisti biržā. Darba mērķis: Pamatojoties uz literatūras un statistikas datu izpēti, salīdzināt trīs Baltijas valstu– Latvijas, Lietuvas un Igaunijas vērtspapīru tirgus attīstību, lai izvirzītu priekšlikumus vērtspapīru tirgus pilnveidošanai Latvijā. Darba uzdevumi: 1.Pamatojoties uz profesionālo un akadēmisko literatūru, izpētīt un apkopot informāciju par vērtspapīru tirgus būtību, kā arī izpētīt teorētiskos modeļus, kas raksturo vērtspapīru tirgus attīstību. 2.Apkopot pieejamo informāciju par vērtspapīru tirgu laika posmā no 2017. gada līdz 2022. gadam un veikt statistisku tirgus izpēti Baltijas valstīs – Latvijā, Lietuvā, Igaunijā, kā arī veikt Latvijas vērtspapīru tirgus izpēti, intervējot tirgus dalībniekus ar mērķi identificēt, kādi ir galvenie šķēršļi uzņēmumiem kapitāla piesaistei biržā. 3.Izdarīt secinājumus un izstrādāt priekšlikumus politikas veidotājiem problēmu risināšanai Baltijas valstīs. Based on literature and statistical data review, the performance of the securities – shares and bonds- the market of the Baltic States was analyzed in the period from 2017 to 2022, comparing the statistics of “Nasdaq Riga”, “Nasdaq Vilnius”, and “Nasdaq Tallinn”. In the empirical part of the work, the author, based on expert interviews with companies that have listed shares or bonds for representatives of the stock exchange, as well as the opinions of “Nasdaq Riga” and other experts, has studied what are the main obstacles and challenges for Latvian small and medium companies to choose to raise capital on the stock exchange. Aim of the research: Based on literature and statistical data review, compare the performance of the securities market of the three Baltic states – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, to put forward proposals for the improvement of the securities market in Latvia. Tasks of paper: 1.Based on professional and academic literature review, to identify and summarize information about the securities market as well as study the theoretical models that characterize the development of the securities market. 2.Summarize information about securities market in the Baltic countries – Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia in the period from 2017 to 2022 and do statistical analysis about securities market, as well as do research on the Latvian securities market by interviewing market participants with the aim of identifying the main obstacles for companies for raising capital in the stock exchange. 3.Make conclusions and develop proposals for policy makers to improve the securities markets in the Baltic States.
