Depozīta Sistēmas ieviešana Latvijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Depozīta Sistēmas ieviešana Latvijā”. 2022. gada 1. februārī Latvijā sāka darboties Iepakojuma Depozīta Sistēma. Pasaulē pieaugošās bažas par vides jautājumiem rosina dabai draudzīgāku politiku veidošanu, un šādas sistēmas ieviešana var mainīt patērētāju uzvedību un palielināt pārstrādāto atkritumu apjomu, tuvinot pāreju uz ilgtspējīgākiem risinājumiem un aprites ekonomiku kopumā. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz Latvijā un citās valstīs ieviestās iepakojuma depozīta sistēmas analīzi, identificēt iespējamos sistēmas uzlabojumus Latvijā. Veicot aptauju, noskaidrota Latvijas iedzīvotāju attieksme pret Latvijā ieviesto Iepakojuma Depozīta Sistēmu un iegūta informācija par iespējamajiem sistēmas uzlabojumiem. The subject of the bachelor thesis is “Reverse Vending Machine System Implementation in Latvia”. On February 1, 2022, Beverage Deposit Refund System started operationg in Latvia. The world’s growing concerns about environmental issues encourage the implementation of more nature-friendly policies, and implementation of such a system can change consumer behaviour and increase the rate of recycled household waste, bringing closer the transition to more sustainable solutions and the circular economy in general. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify possible system improvements in Latvia, based on the analysis of the Beverage Deposit System implemented in Latvia and other countries. By conducting a survey, the attitude of Latvian residents towards the Beverage Deposit System implemented in Latvia was ascertained and information on possible improvements to the system was obtained.
