Purvu veidošanās un attīstība Burtnieka drumlinu lauka teritorijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba izstrādes procesā ievākta un analizēta informācija par Lielā purva ģenēzi un attīstību gan izmantojot kartogrāfiskos materiālus, gan pielietojot lauka un laboratoriskās metodes – lauka darbos iegūtajiem paraugiem noteikta sadalīšanās pakāpe, veikta botāniskā analīze, karsēšanas zudumu analīze un izveidots purva šķērsprofils. Informācija analizēta Burtnieka līdzenuma kontekstā, lai iegūtu informāciju par Burtnieka drumlinu lauka starpdrumlinu ieplakās veidojušos purvu ģenēzi un attīstību. Lielā purva attīstības gaita raksturojama kā īpaši mainīga – iegūtie dati liecina par straujām hidroloģisko apstākļu svārstībām un mainīgu veģetāciju purva attīstības gaitā, īpaši sākotnējās attīstības stadijās. Burtnieka līdzenumā esošo purvu raksturojošās īpašības ir krasi atšķirīgas gan Burtnieka drumlinu lauka teritorijā, gan blakus esošajā Rūjas pazeminājumā, gan vienam drumlinam blakus esošo ieplaku purvos.

During the Bachelor’s study, information on the genesis and development of Lielais Mire was collected and analyzed using both cartographic materials and field, and laboratoric methods. Laboratoric methods - degree of peat decomposition, botanical composition and loss-on-ignition analyses - were used to determine the properties of peat samples obtained during field work. The changes in organogenic sediments have been analyzed in context of Burtnieks plain in order to obtain information about the genesis and development of bogs formed in the inter-drumlin depressions of Burtnieks drumlin field. The course of development of Lielais Mire can be characterized as particularly variable - the obtained data shows rapid fluctuations in hydrological conditions and changing vegetation during the development of bog, especially in the initial stages of development. Comparing different study sites the territory of Burtnieks drumlin field, it can be concluded, that the characteristics of bogs in Burtnieks plain are drastically different even in the bogs of the depressions adjacent to one drumlin.
