Bakalaura darba “SPKC komunikācija mikroblogošanas vietnē Twitter par Covid-19 pandēmiju 2020. un 2022. gada pirmajos sešos mēnešos” mērķis ir izpētīt, kā Slimību profilakses un kontroles centrs tika galā ar krīzes komunikāciju, kā mainījās komunikācija pētāmajos periodos un kādi trūkumi pastāvēja tajā. Darba mērķa sasniegšanai tika veikta teorētisko avotu analīze par publiskā sektora organizāciju komunikāciju, krīzes komunikāciju un dienaskārtības teoriju, kā arī pētījuma ietvaros tika veikta SPKC Twitter konta kontentanalīze un medicīnas nozares speciālistu intervijas. Pētījuma rezultātā tika secināts, ka SPKC komunikācijā Twitter platformā pastāvēja vērā ņemami trūkumi, tai skaitā nepietiekama izglītojošā proaktivitāte un skaidrojošais darbs, fokusēšanās uz saslimstības rādītāju skaitlisko ziņošanu. The bachelor’s thesis “The Communication of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control in Microblogging Platform Twitter about the Covid-19 Pandemic in the First Six Months of 2020 and 2022” aims to study the crisis communication of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, how its communication changed in the said periods, and its drawbacks. To reach the aim of the thesis, there were theoretical sources analysed on public sector organisations’ communication, crisis communication and agenda theory, as well as content analysis of the organisation’s Twitter account and interviews with medical specialists conducted. The research revealed that the organisation’s communication on Twitter had substantial drawbacks, including insufficient educational proactivity and explanatory work, focusing on reporting the disease’s numeric indicators.
