Ķīnas pilsoņu kara atspoguļojums Latvijas presē 1930.gados

Abstract

Pētījums veikts par vēstures zinātnē maz aplūkotu tēmu – Ķīnas Pilsoņu kara atspoguļojumu Latvijas presē 1930. gados. Darba mērķis ir analizēt Ķīnas pilsoņu kara atspoguļojumu Latvijas presē, padziļināti pētot ‘’Jaunāko Ziņu’’ korespondenta Georga Timuškas reportāžas. Darbā secināts, ka, pētot Ķīnas vēsturi un ārzemnieku ietekmi tajā, valstī ir ilga tradīcija ar ārzemju žurnālistiem un laikrakstiem, kuri ietekmē valsts attīstību. Latvijas korespondents šo tradīciju turpina. Georga Timuškas reportāžas atspoguļo Ķīnas notikumus, lasītājus iepazīstinot ar valsts kultūru, cilvēkiem, vēsturi un politiku. Savukārt jaunāko notikumu reportāža ‘’Jaunākajās Ziņās’’ ir lakoniska, un cittautu žurnālistu iespaidota. Tikmēr, salīdzinot ar britu laikrakstu ‘’The Times’’, rakstiem par tiem pašiem jautājumiem klāt ir analīze un savi avoti, jo abu laikrakstu materiālās iespējas atšķiras, kā arī britiem ir savas nacionālās intereses.

The subject of this research is the Chinese Civil war through the lense of Latvian press in the 1930s. It is not a widely studied subject. The aim of the research is to analyse how the Latvian press wrote about the Chinese Civil war, while looking more closely at the reports of latvian foreign correspondent Georgs Timuška. The research concludes, that, in researching Chinese history and the foreign influence in it, there is a long tradition of foreign journalists and newspapers, which influence the progress of China. The Latvian correspondent continues this tradition. The reports of Georgs Timuška present China to the Latvian reader, who can get educated in Chinese culture, people, history and politics. The breaking news reports about China found in the Latvian newspaper ‘’Jaunākās Ziņas’’ are straight to the point and influenced by foreign journalists. In comparison with ‘’The Times’’, the British newspaper writes about the same issues in articles with much more detailed analasys and also use their own sources, considering their own national interests and material wealth.
