Abstract
This bachelor thesis examines climate change, human rights, and the link between the two. Climate change is an occurring obstacle that the world needs to combat. There are many obvious implications of climate change, for example, iceberg melting, natural disasters, and others. However, the link between climate change and human rights may not be easily noticeable. To see the link, one needs to look at how the consequences of climate change impact human rights. For example, because of floods, a field of crops is destroyed, leaving people without a food supply. This is legal doctrinal research and the topic is approached using grammatical and analytical methods. The author will use primary sources like International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) and secondary sources like books and general comments.
