This work includes research on previously written papers on the subject, including physiological aspects that affect visual perception, as well as how stimulus properties affect different groups of people. A study was conducted to examine how the sequence of descriptive properties describing an element affects search paths and time. It was concluded that the order in which properties were described was not a determining factor and did not affect the results. Search time significantly increased as more conjunctive properties were introduced in the search task, specifically when the color of the target element was added to the distractor elements. Search time increased, and search paths became more complex. Sex was also an important factor when it came to search time, as males, on average, found the target element slower than females. The distance between the target element and the center of stimuli also affected the search time. It was also found that the sequence of stimuli was important, as participants showed a learning effect with consecutive stimuli.
