Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Uzņēmuma “Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.” īstenotā uzņēmuma “Statoil Fuel & Retail” pārņemšanas procesa analīze, un tā ietekme uz uzņēmuma rezultatīvajiem rādītājiem”. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz teorētiskajiem aspektiem, finanšu rādītāju analīzes un interviju rezultātiem, izpētīt vai “Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.” īstenotā uzņēmuma “Statoil Fuel & Retail” pārņemšanas process ir bijis veiksmīgs. Darba pirmajā daļā autore analizē uzņēmumu pārņemšanas procesu, fāzes, stratēģijas, iespējamās problēmas un rezultātus. Darba otrajā daļā autore izpēta starptautisku uzņēmumu pārņemšanas un pārpirkšanas tendences. Darba trešajā daļā tika veikta analīze uzņēmuma “Statoil Fuel & Retail” pārņemšanas process, kura zīmols tika mainīts uz Circle K. The topic of this bachelor thesis is Analysis of the acquisition process of “Statoil Fuel & Retail” by “Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.” and its impact on the company's performance. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to investigate whether “Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.” has been successful in its acquisition of “Statoil Fuel & Retail.” In the first part of the paper, the author analyses the acquisition process, phases, strategies, potential problems and outcomes. In the second part of the thesis, the author examines global trends in cross-border mergers and acquisitions. The third part of the thesis analyses the takeover of Statoil Fuel & Retail, rebranded as Circle K. The bachelor thesis consists of 81 pages, 14 pictures, 2 tables and 2 annexes.
