Pakalpojumu eksports un starptautisko biznesa pakalpojumu centru nozare ir Latvijā jauna un pēdējās desmitgadēs attīstījusies nozare un tajā ir neizmantots potenciāls. Autore maģistra darbā analizē nozari, identificē tās ietekmējošos faktorus, kā arī izceļ nozares ekonomisko ietekmi uz Latvijas ekonomiku, nosakot kritērijus tās mērījumiem, kā arī veic kvalitatīvu datu analīzi Latvijas kontekstā un veic salīdzinājumu ar situāciju Lietuvā un Polijā. Papildus kvalitatīvai datu un teorētiskās literatūras analīzei, autore veic padziļinātas intervijas ar nozares ekspertiem Latvijā, Lietuvā un Polijā. Maģistra darbā autore secina, ka SBPC nozare Latvijā nav pilnībā attīstījusies un izmantojusi potenciālu, kā tas ir Lietuvas un Polijas piemērā un pamatojoties uz veikto analīzi, izvirza ieteikumus nozares attīstībai turpmāk. Export of services and industry of global business services is a new industry in Latvia and has developed only in the recent decades and still has untapped potential. In the master’s thesis author is analyzing the industry and identifying its influencing factors on countries economy as well as highlighting the factors for the development of the industry. Author sets criteria of measurement of the impact, performs analysis of it in context of Latvia and compares the situation of the industry in Lithuania and Poland. In addition to qualitative analysis of data and theoretical literature, author conducts in-depth interviews with industry experts from Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. Author concludes that the GBS industry in Latvia has not yet fully developed by using its fullest potential, and Lithuania and Poland are making more progress in the industry. Based on analysis author is suggesting recommendations for the future development of the industry.
