Maģistra darba tēma ir ‘’valsts atbalsta mehānismu loma konkurētspējīgas tautsaimniecības veicināšanā – digitālā transformācija un MVU’’. Šajā darbā tiek aplūkota valsts atbalsta mehānismu loma MVU digitālās transformācijas veicināšanā. Darbā tiek izzināti valsts atbalsta veidi digitālās transformācijas iniciatīvām un valsts atbalsta mehānismu loma MVU digitālo transformācijas ietvaros, kā arī aplūkoti galvenie izaicinājumi, kas kavē MVU digitālo transformāciju. Pētījuma ietvaros tiek izmantota jaukta pētījumu metodes pieeja, apvienojot kvantitatīvo datu analīzi ar kvalitatīvu pētījumu metodiku, veicot MVU pārstāvju aptauju un īstenojot intervijas ar jomas pārstāvjiem. Rezultāti liecina, ka valsts atbalsta mehānismiem ir būtiska loma MVU digitālās transformācijas procesā, ņemot vērā MVU ierobežotos resursus un nozīmīgo lomu tautsaimniecības attīstībā. The subject of the master’s thesis is “the role of state aid mechanisms in promoting a competitive economy – digital transformation and SMEs”. This thesis examines the role of state support mechanisms in promoting the digital transformation of SMEs. The work explores the types of state support for digital transformation initiatives and the role of state support mechanisms within the digital transformation of SMEs, as well as examines the main challenges that hinder the digital transformation. The research uses a mixed research method approach, combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative research methodology, conducting a survey of SME representatives, and conducting interviews with representatives of the field. The results show that state support mechanisms play an essential role in the digital transformation process of SMEs, considering the limited resources of SMEs and their important role in the development of the national economy.
