Bakalaura darbā tika veikta meža nozares analīze Latvijā, lai izstrādātu priekšlikumus tās attīstībai un konkurētspējas palielināšanai. Meža nozare ir viena no svarīgākajām nozarēm Latvijas tautsaimniecībā, kas nodrošina ap 6% no tautsaimniecības kopējās pievienotās vērtības. The bachelor thesis analysed the forest sector in Latvia in order to develop proposals for its development and competitiveness. The forest sector is one of the most important sectors of the Latvian economy, accounting for around 6% of the total value added of the economy. Forests also have significant social and environmental value. It is therefore important to understand the sector. Forests have significant social, economic and environmental value. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to study the competitiveness of the forest sector and how to improve competitiveness. To draw conclusions about the Latvian forest sector and to make proposals for its development, as well as to obtain the views of people working in the forest sector.
