Pētījuma rezultāti norāda uz sakarību starp grunts neviendabības koeficientu un maksimālo blīvumu The bachelor thesis presents a study on the correlation between the size distribution of soil particles, more specifically the uniformity coefficient and the maximum density. Using an automated compaction machine, laboratory compaction tests were performed on modified sandy soil samples to determine the maximum density. The actual particle size distribution and other soil classification characteristics of these samples were then tested. The approach developed by the author to modify the granulometric composition of the soil samples and their various characteristics using different fractional sizes of aggregate was applied and tested. The correctness of the applied methodology was evaluated and the results of laboratory tests were interpeted. The results of the study indicate a correlation between the soil uniformity coefficient and the maximum density
