Efektīva komunikācija pacienta perioperatīvajā periodā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma – „Efektīva komunikācija pacienta perioperatīvajā periodā”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka straujā medicīnas tehnoloģiju un aprūpes attīstība, kā arī noslogojums stacionāros, kas liek novirzīties no aprūpes, kura ir vērsta uz pacientu. Šādā aprūpē galvenā sastāvdaļa ir efektīva komunikācija, jo tā veicina pacientu uzticību un iesaisti savā ārstniecības procesā. Slikta komunikācija perioperatīvajā vidē veicina nedrošu operāciju bloka kultūru, ķirurģiskas iejaukšanās aizkavēšanos, nopietnas kļūdas u.c. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot vispārējās aprūpes māsas (perioperatīvā aprūpē) praksē pielietotās komunikācijas metodes efektīvai komunikācijai ar pacientu. Pētījuma gaitā tika veikti šādi uzdevumi: 1. Apkopot un analizēt medicīnisko literatūru un citus informācijas avotus par komunikāciju, perioperatīvo periodu, un par māsu kompetenci saistībā ar komunikāciju ar pacientu; 2. Analizēt un pielāgot pētījumam H. E. Peplau māszinību teoriju; 3. Izstrādāt pētījuma instrumentu – aptaujas anketu; 4. Veikt aptauju interneta vidē un slimnīcā X; 5. Veikt iegūto datu apstrādi un analīzi; 6. Izdarīt secinājumus. Pētījumā tika izvirzīta hipotēze – efektīva komunikācija ar pacientu perioperatīvajā periodā veicina uz pacientu orientētu kvalitatīvu aprūpi un priekšlaicīgu risku identificēšanu. Tika pielietota kvantitatīvā pētniecības metode. Pētniecības rezultāti: pētījumā izvirzītā hipotēze ir apstiprinājusies, balstoties uz analizēto pieejamo literatūru un autores veikto pētījumu – efektīva komunikācija māsu praksē ir svarīga uz pacientu vērstā aprūpē, kurā ietilpst arī pacientu un viņu tuvinieku izglītošana, un iesaistīšanās āstniecības procesā. 95% no māsām atzina, pēc komunikācijas ar pacientu ir sasniegušas vēlamo rezultātu pacientu drošības risku novēršanai, kā arī pielietojot efektīvu komunikāciju ir iespējams identificēt šos riskus (71%). Pēc kvantitatīvā pētījuma rezultātiem lielākā daļa māsu (75%) izmanto verbālo komunikācijas metodi.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Effective communication during the patient's perioperative period". The topicality is determined by the rapid development of medical technology and care, as well as the workload in inpatient facilities, which leads to a deviation from patient-centered care. Effective communication is central to nursing care, as it promotes patients' trust and involvement in their treatment process. Poor communication in the perioperative environment contributes to an unsafe operating room culture, surgical delays, serious errors etc. The goal of the study is to find out the communication methods used in the practice of general care nurses (in perioperative care) for effective communication with the patient. During the research, the following tasks were performed: 1. Collect and analyze the medical literature and other sources of information on the communication, perioperative period, and the competence of nurses in connection with communication with the patient; 2. Analyze and adapt H. E. Peplau's nursing theory to the research; 3. Develop a research tool – a survey questionnaire; 4. Conduct a survey in the internet environment and in the hospital; 5. To process and analyze the obtained data; 6. Draw conclusions. The research put forward a hypothesis – effective communication with the patient in the perioperative period promotes patient-oriented quality care and early risk identification, therefore a quantitative method was used. Research results: the hypothesis put forward in the study has been confirmed, based on the analyzed available literature and the author's work - patient-centered care is an important part of effective communication practice, which also includes educating patients and their relatives also involving them in the process. 95% of the nurses admitted that after communicating with the patient they have achieved desired result in preventing patient safety risks, and using effective communication, it is possible to identify these risks (71%). According to the results of the quantitative study, the majority of nurses (75%) use the verbal communication method.
