Pārtikas atkritumu apsaimniekošanas sistēmas attīstība pašvaldībās: pilotprojektu novērtējumu pieeja

Abstract

Šobrīd Latvijas atkritumu apsaimniekošanas jomā viena no aktualitātēm ir bioloģiski noārdāmo atkritumu t.sk. pārtikas atkritumu apsaimniekošanas sistēmas ieviešana visā valstī. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izzināt šī brīža bioloģiski noārdāmo atkritumu apsaimniekošanas sistēmu, izstrādāt ieteikumus Valmieras novada pašvaldībai bioloģiski noārdāmo atkritumu šķirošanas procesa ieviešanai daudzdzīvokļa namos. Darbā izklāstīts plašāk par bioloģisko atkritumu apsaimniekošanas šī brīža tendencēm un problēmām Eiropā un Latvijā, par dalīti vākto bioloģisko atkritumu sistēmas ieguvumiem, datu trūkumu un pieredzi caur dažādiem pilotprojektiem. Darbs sastāv no 4 galvenajām nodaļām. Pirmājā nodaļā tiek sniegts literatūras apskats par pētāmo problēmu. Otrajā nodaļā ir aprakstīti labās prakses jeb pilotprojektu piemēri. Trešajā nodaļā tiek aprakstītas izmantotās metodes. Ceturtajā ir izklāstīti rezultāti. Noslēguma sadaļās tiek doti arī ieteikumi un izdarīti secinājumi. Darbs sastāv no 42 attēliem, 15 tabulām un 11 pielikumiem. Atslēgas vārdi: bioloģiski noārdāmie atkritumi, pārtikas atkritumi, pilotprojekti, kopienas komposts, mājkomposts.

Currently, in the field of waste management in Latvia, one of the highlights is the introduction of a system of biodegradable waste, including food waste management, throughout the country. The purpose of the Master's work is to explore the current biodegradable waste management system, to develop recommendations to Valmiera municipality for implementation of the process of sorting biodegradable waste in multi-apartment buildings. The work spells out more about current trends and problems in the management of biological waste in Europe and Latvia, about the benefits of the system of separately collected biological waste, lack of data and experience through various pilot projects. The work consists of 4 main chapters. In the first section, an overview of the literature on the problem to be studied is examined. The second chapter describes examples of good practice or pilot project. The third chapter describes methods. The fourth chapter describes the results. And at the end is a discussion that looks at the results obtained and makes recommendations, draws conclusions. The work consists of 42images, 15 tables and 11 attachments.
