Konkurence latviešu skatuviskās tautas dejas A grupas kolektīvos

Latviešu skatuvisko tautas deju A grupas kolektīvos pastāv sāncensība. Šajā darbā tiek analizēti konkurences rašanās iemesli un izpausmes, kā arī tās ietekme uz dejotājiem. Šajā darbā tiek analizēti trīs aspekti, kas ietekmē konkurences fenomenu tautas deju laukā: performance un kā tas noved pie konkurences; dzimte; varas struktūras un hierarhiskās attiecības. Dejošana A grupas kolektīvā nenovēršami liek dejotājiem savā starpā konkurēt, cenšoties iegūt labāku pozīciju kolektīvā un vadītāja – kolektīva autoritārās personas – atzinību. Tāpat dejotājam jāiekļaujas heteronormatīvā vidē, kurā viņam noteiktā veidā jāperformē sava dzimte un jāpakļaujas varas struktūrām un kārtībai, ko vadītājs uztur. Nepakļaušanās šai kārtībai var novest pie tā, ka dejotājs netiek novērtēts un sabojā attiecības ar vadītāju. Competitiveness characterizes Latvian stage folk dance A group ensembles. This work analyzes the reasons for and manifestations of that competitiveness, as well as its impact on dancers. It also identifies three sources of competitiveness in Latvian folk dance: performance; gender; power structures and hierarchical relationships. Dancing in an A group ensemble inevitably forces the dancers to compete for a better position in the group and gain the recognition of the group leader - the ultimate authority within the ensemble. Similarly, dancer must fit into a heteronormative environment, in which she or he must perform their gender in a certain way while obeying the structures of power and order maintained by the leader. Disobeying this order can cause negative repercussions for dancers and damage their relationship with the leader.
