Abstract
Bakalaura darba ietvaros tiks pētīts, kā no dziļuma datiem var iegūt reālistiski apgaismotu 3D ainu. Darbā tiek aprakstīta konkrēto procesa soļu nozīme un potenciālās problēmas, lietojot izvēlētās pieejas vēlamā apgaismojuma panākšanai. Šī darba mērķis ir papildināt kursa darbā jau veikto pētījumu “3D ainas rekonstrukcija no dziļuma kartes” ar jauniem algoritmiem, pievienotiem pēc-apstrādes soļiem un citu pieeju gaismas reālisma emulācijai.
This thesis aims to explore ways of creating realistically illuminated 3D scenes from a depth map. The thesis describes the purpose of each individual step of the process as well as potential problems encountered when using the chosen processes. The goal of the thesis is to further continue the research done previously in the Term Paper with new algorithms, newly added post-processing steps as well another approach to realistic lighting.
