Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt un veicināt plašāku izpratni par maldinoša dizaina jēdzienu un problemātiku. Darbā analizētas maldinoša dizaina izpausmes un veidi, kā arī runāts par šādas dizaina prakses ietekmi, sekām un apskatītas esošās vadlīnijas un regulas, kas vērstas uz maldinoša dizaina identificēšanu un novēršanu. Darbā tiek pētītas dažādas stratēģijas, kā atpazīt un izvairīties no maldinoša dizaina. Praktiskajā daļā darba autore izveidojusi informatīvu tīmekļa vietni par maldinošo dizainu, kurā iekļauti vizuāli piemēri un to skaidrojumi. Tīmekļa vietne kalpo kā izglītojošs rīks, lai paaugstinātu sabiedrības informētību par maldinoša dizaina pazīmēm. Turklāt izstrādātajā resursā ir iespēja izpildīt testu, lai tīmekļa vietnes apmeklētājs pārbaudītu savas spējas atpazīt un atšķirt dažādos maldinošā dizaina veidus un gūtu atgriezenisko saiti par savu informētības līmeni. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the concept and problems of deceptive design and to promote a broader understanding of it. This paper investigates the manifestations and types of deceptive design and talks about the effects and consequences of such design practises. The thesis investigates various strategies for recognizing and avoiding deceptive design, as well as reviewing guidelines and regulations aimed at preventing the use of deceptive design. In the practical section, the author of the paper has created an informative website on deceptive design that includes visual examples and their explanations. The website serves as an educational tool to educate and sensitise the public to the signs of misleading design. In addition, the resource provides the opportunity to to test website visitors’ ability in recognising and distinguish different types of deceptive design thus giving feedback on their level of knowledge.
