Money has existed since ancient times and it has been continuously transformed. With each phase of money transformation, the economy has also transformed, therefore it is important to understand the impact of electronic money on the growth of countries economies in order to be able to manage and monitor the ongoing processes more effectively and to make economic activity more efficient. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to assess the impact of electronic money on the gross domestic product of Latvia and Sweden, based on statistical analysis and theoretical aspects, to draw conclusions and provide proposals for the development of electronic money. Bachelor thesis contains: 73 pages, 2 tables and 25 images.
