Bakalaura darbā “Ģimenes jēdziens, tā tiesiskā izpratne un aktualitāte” tiek pētīta ģimenes jēdziena tiesiskā izpratne, tā sastāvdaļas un ģimenes jēdziena formulējuma aktualitāte mūsdienās. Ģimenes jēdziena definīcija ir jo īpaši aktuāla mūsdienās, jo saskatāma liela ģimenes modeļu daudzveidība, kuru tiesiskās attiecības netiek regulētas. Autore secina, ka ģimenes modeļu daudzveidības dēļ, lai tos visus varētu tiesiski aizsargāt, nepieciešams izšķirties par ģimenes tiesisko definīciju. Ģimenes jēdzienam nav iespējams noteikt konkrētu definīciju, jo tā kā tā ir cieši ar sabiedrību, tad tā nepārtraukti attīstās un mainās, taču ir iespējams izvirzīt kritērijus, pēc kuriem vērtēt atbilstību ģimenei tiesiskā izpratnē. The definition of the concept of family is particularly relevant today, as a large variety of family models whose legal relations are not regulated can be seen. The author concludes that due to the diversity of family models, in order to legally protect all of them, it is necessary to decide on the legal definition of family. It is not possible to determine a specific definition for the concept of family, since it is closely related to society, so it is constantly developing and changing, but it is possible to set criteria by which to assess compliance with the family in the legal sense.
