Seksuālā kauna izjūtas saistība ar uztverto attiecību kvalitāti, atšķirības starp vīriešiem un sievietēm un homoseksuāliem un heteroseksuāliem cilvēkiem

Abstract

Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt un noskaidrot, vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp seksuālā kauna izjūtu un uztverto attiecību kvalitāti, vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp seksuālā kauna izjūtu un uztverto attiecību kvalitāti starp vīriešiem un sievietēm, vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp seksuālā kauna izjūtu un uztverto attiecību kvalitāti starp homoseksuāliem un heteroseksuāliem cilvēkiem, kā arī ar regresijas analīzes palīdzību noskaidrot, vai seksuālā kauna izjūta prognozē uztverto attiecību kvalitāti. Pētījuma izlasi veido 179 pilngadību sasnieguši heteroseksuāli n=134 (75%) un homoseksuāli n=45 (25%) vīrieši n= 68 (38%) un sievietes n=111 (62%), kuri vismaz vienu gadu ir romantiskās pāra attiecībās. Respondenti tiešsaistē aizpildīja Uztvertās attiecību kvalitātes komponentu aptauju (Perceived Ralationship Components, PRQC, Fletcher, Simpson & Thomas, 2000), kuru Latvijā adaptējusi Ilze Plauča 2010 gadā un Seksuālā kauna aptauju (Kyle Inventory of Sexual shame, Kyle, 2013), kuru Latvijā adaptējusi Līga Savicka, 2018.gadā, kā arī demogrāfiskā aptauja - dalībnieka dzimums, vecums, seksuālā orientācija un esošo attiecību ilgums. Pētījuma metode tika izvēlēta kvantitatīvs pētījums ar korelācijas un regresijas analīzi. Pētījumā tika noskaidrots, ka seksuālā kauna izjūta ir statistiski nozīmīgi negatīvi saistīta ar uztverto attiecību kvalitāti un seksuālā kauna izjūta prognozē uztverto attiecību kvalitāti. Uztvertā attiecību kvalitāte uzrādījās augstāka homoseksuālu respondentu vidū, savukārt atšķirības starp vīriešiem un sievietēm netika konstatētas. Ne dzimums, ne seksuālā orientācija neuzrāda statistiski būtiskas atšķirības starp seksuālā kauna izjūtu.

The purpose of this work is to investigate and find out whether there is a statistically significant relationship between the feeling of sexual shame and the perceived quality of relationships, whether there are statistically significant differences between the feeling of sexual shame and the perceived quality of relationships between men and women, whether there are statistically significant differences between the feeling of sexual shame and the perceived quality of relationships between homosexual and heterosexual people, as well as to find out with the help of regression analysis whether the feeling of sexual shame predicts the perceived quality of relationships. The research sample consists of 179 adult heterosexual n=134 (75%) and homosexual n=45 (25%) men n=68 (38%) and women n=111 (62%), who have been in a romantic relationship for at least one year. Respondents completed online the Perceived Relationship Components survey (PRQC, Fletcher, Simpson & Thomas, 2000), which was adapted in Latvia by Ilze Plauča in 2010, and the Kyle Inventory of Sexual shame, Kyle, 2013, which was adapted in Latvia Līga Savicka, in 2018, as well as the demographic survey - participant's gender, age, sexual orientation and duration of existing relationships. The research method was a quantitative study with correlation and regression analysis. The study found that the feeling of sexual shame is statistically significantly negatively related to the perceived quality of the relationship and that the feeling of sexual shame predicts the perceived quality of the relationship. Perceived relationship quality was higher among homosexual respondents, while no differences were found between men and women. Neither gender nor sexual orientation showed statistically significant differences between feelings of sexual shame.
