Abstract

Darba tēma: 4 -5 gadus vecu bērnu iztēles attīstības veicināšana literāro darbu apguves procesā. Pētījuma mērķis: izzināt un praktiskā ceļā pētīt 4 – 5 gadīgu bērnu iztēles attīstību literāro darbu apguvē pirmsskolā. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām, kam izdalītas apakšnodaļas. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstītas dažādu autoru atziņas, kas ir iztēle un tās nozīmīgums bērna attīstībā, kā arī pedagoģiskie ieteikumi un metodes, kas sekmētu bērna iztēli. Šajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīta literāro darbu ietekme bērnu iztēles veidošanā, pedagogu ieteikumi un vērojumi, kas aktivizē bērnu iztēli. Otrajā nodaļā tiek veikts empīriskais pētījums par bērnu iztēles attīstību. Tiek aprakstīti darba autores veiktie novērojumi, izvēlētā literatūra, pielietotās metodes, ņemti vērā pedagogu ieteikumi, kuri aktivizē bērna darbību. Tiek organizēts pedagoģiskais process, kurā tiek pielietoti literārie darbi, kā bērnu iztēles veicinātāji. Pētījuma noslēgumā ir izdarīti secinājumi par literāro darbu ietekmi bērnu iztēles veicināšanā, pielietojot gan pašsacerētu pasaku, gan ļaujot bērniem radoši darboties, attēlojot savu iztēles objektu dramatizācijā, pasakas turpinājumā, kā arī radot pavisam jaunus tēlus. The topic of the paper: Developing Imagination Skills of 4 and 5 Year Olds in Literature Classes. The objective of the paper: to trace and empirically observe the progress of 4 – 5 – year – olds’ imagination during the literature learning process at a pre – school institution. The paper contains two parts, each divided into subsections. The first part provides an insight to conclusions made by various authors as to the concept and importance of the imagination in child development and it includes a number of pedagogical recommendations and observations that may boost a child’s imagination. The second part reveals the empirical research conducted by the author on the development of children’s imagination, listing the sources used, research methods applied, and recommendations adhered to stimulate child’s involvement. It also presents a pedagogical process where literary works are used as a stimulant of the children’s imagination. The final part of the paper provides conclusions made about the impact of literary works on the enhancement of children's imagination by means of either a child-created tale or free creative performance where children describe an imaginary object through acting games or by making up a plot to the tale or creating new characters.
