Darba mērķis ir detalizēti analizēt metodi, kura ļauj konstruēt ticamības intervālus strukturālās attiecības parametram ar empīriskās ticamības funkcijas palīdzību. Šis parametrs raksturo sakarības starp izlasēm. Iegūtais ticamības intervāls var pilnīgāk aprakstīt datus, nevis testi, kuri balstās uz vidējo rādītāju salīdzināšanu, jo tas ir atkarīgs no konkrētas mainīga vērtības, ko apskatam. To var izmantot, piemēram, medicīnā, lai noteiktu, kā zāles iedarbojas uz visu pacientu izlasi. The goal of the thesis is to analyze in detail a method that allows the construction of confidence intervals for a structural relationship parameter by means of an empirical likelihood function. This parameter describes the relationship between samples and can be used to make inference about the model of the data. It can describe the data in detail, because it is dependent on a certain value of the variable. This quality is considered beneficial in comparison to regular tests, which make inference only about one certain measure. For example, this approach can be used in medicine to determine whether some treatment is truly beneficial for all members of the population. A program to construct confidence intervals and determine coverage accuracy has been created. It can also be used to compare the effectiveness of different methods of empirical likelihood.
