Sievietes ultramaratonos un dzimtes attiecības

Abstract

Pētījums “Sievietes ultramaratonos un dzimtes attiecības” analizē sieviešu dalību ultramaratonos, izmantojot Pjēra Burdjē teorijas par kapitāla formām, habitus un maskulīno dominēšanu. Caur ekonomiskā, kultūras un sociālā kapitāla apmaiņas analīzi ultramaratonu skriešanā autore pēta to, kā ultramaratonu skriešanas prakse ietekmē sieviešu skrējēju piedzīvotās dzimtes sociālās attiecības. “Women in ultramarathons and gender relationships” explores the female participation in ultramarathon running through Pierre Bourdieu’s theories of capital, habitus, and masculine domination. Through the mapping of economic, cultural, and social capital conversions involved within the ultramarathon running the author analyses how the ultramarathon running practice affects the female ultramarathon runners’ experienced gender relationships.
