Hokeja terminoloģijas atveide latviešu valodā

Abstract

Maģistra darba ‘’Hokeja terminoloģijas atveide latviešu valodā’’ mērķis ir apkopot pēc iespējas vairāk hokeja nozares jēdzienu – gan terminus, gan profesionālajā saziņā lietotus apzīmējumus, kā arī tuvāk aplūkot latviešu hokeja profesionālismus un novērtēt, vai tos varētu ieteikt par oficiāliem terminiem. Darba teorētiskajā daļā apskatītas termina izstrādes vadlīnijas un valodas līdzekļi. Otrajā daļā aplūkota hokeja vēsture, hokeja izlases sasniegumi, kā arī hokeja terminu cilme un spēles maiņa laika gaitā. Trešajā daļā visi apkopotie hokeja jēdzieni sagrupēti pēc pazīmēm – termini, termina kandidāti un profesionālismi, pašvalodas vārdi, aizguvumi un vārdkoptermini un nozares jēdzienu avoti. Darba rezultātā ir izveidota hokeja terminu un termina kandidātu skaidrojošā un tulkojošā vārdnīca. Pētījumā secināts, ka latviešu valodā hokeja terminoloģija ir diezgan plaša, taču pastāv arī daudz profesionālismu, no kuriem daļai ir potenciāls kļūt par terminiem.

The aim of the master's thesis ''The rendering of hockey terminology in Latvian'' is to collect as many hockey terms as possible – both terms and professional terms, as well as to take a closer look at Latvian hockey professionalisms and assess whether they could be recommended as official terms. The theoretical part of the paper deals with term development guidelines and means of language. The second part deals with the history of ice hockey, the highest achievements of the Latvian national hockey team, as well as the etymology of hockey terms, and the change of the game over time. In the third part, all the hockey terms collected were divided and grouped by characteristics - terms, term candidates and professionalisms, proper nouns, loanwords, and multi-word terms, and sources of subject field terms. As a result, an explanatory and translating dictionary of hockey terms and term candidates has been created. The study concludes that the terminology of ice hockey in Latvian is quite broad, but there are also many professionalisms, some of which have the potential to become terms.
