Maģistra darba tēma ir „Baltijas valstu nodokļu sistēmas un atsevišķu nodokļu veidu- UIN un PVN salīdzinošā analīze”, mērķis ir izpētīt maģistra darba tēmu „Baltijas valstu Pievienotās vērtības nodokļa un Uzņēmuma ienākuma nodokļa sistēmas elementus un veikt šo elementa salīdzinošo analīzi, kā arī izstrādāt priekšlikumus Baltijas valstu nodokļu sistēmas pilnveidošanai”.
Maģistra darbs sastāv no četrām daļām. Pirmajā un otrajā daļa apskatīti teorētiskie un tiesiskie aspekti. Šajā daļā aprakstīts nodokļu iedalījums, kur nodokļi iedalās tiešajos un netiešajos nodokļos, kā arī apraksta katras Baltijas valsts nodokļus. Trešajā un ceturtajā daļā tiek veikta Uzņēmuma ienākuma nodokļa un Pievienotās vērtības nodokļa analīze un konstatētas atšķirības katrā Baltijas valstī.
Darbā izmantotas sekojošas metodes – monogrāfiskā jeb aprakstošā metode, datu statistiskā analīze, grafiskā metode.
Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 85 lapām. Tas satur 13 tabulas, 4 attēlus, 77 atsauces.

The goal of the master work "in the Baltic countries the tax system and a separate tax forms Income tax and VAT comparative analysis", aims to explore the work of the Baltic States to explore the value added tax and enterprise income tax system elements and the element of this comparative analysis, and develop proposals for the Baltic countries the tax system improvements.
The work includes five parts. First and second part reviews the theoretical and legal aspects. This part describes the tax division, where taxes are divided into direct and indirect, a description of each Baltic state taxes. The third and fourth parts are made by the company income tax and value added tax analysis and differences were found in each Baltic country. The fifth part presents possible solutions to help improve the tax system in each Baltic country and it is Latvian.
The following methods work - monographic or descriptive method, the statistical data analysis, graphical method.
Master's thesis is written in Latvian to 85 pages. It contains 13 tables, 4 pictures, 77 references.
